WHO WE ARE

The Cat Mountain Hiking Club is an informal group of people hiking together in the Tucson area. The club has no legal status, structure, officers or assets. Several of the group members serve on a volunteer basis as hike planner and guide. We meet every Tuesday (except Christmas and New Year) from November through early April at 7:45 am at the Tucson Estates parking lot. We leave promptly at 8:00 am. You MUST be in good physical condition as some hikes will be strenuous. You are expected to hike at the guide’s pace. Plan to hike most of the day - please don’t make any afternoon appointments. You will be required to sign a waiver-release form to hike with the group.

WHAT TO BRING

Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Bring a hat, plenty of water, snacks, lunch, sunscreen, hiking poles, good hiking boots, and anything else you need for a safe hike. Bring money to reimburse your driver 15 cents/mile for gas.
